Tour de Hope once again a Successful Event!
The Second Annual Tour de Hope was held on Saturday, September 26th, 2009 , and once again proved to be a very successful event. Even though the day began and ended with rain, the hours between proved to be typically beautiful Southern Illinois fall weather. Approxiamately 80 bicyclists participated this year, and we received countless comments about the wonderful routes through the countryside. Riders came from all over Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Indiana, and even as far as Atlanta, Georgia!
Additional Information
The tour de Hope is a fundraising event to benifit the Hands of Hope Family Clinic in Marion, Illinois, which is a free health clinic serving area residents who are working and uninsured.
